The 2022 France Great Seal of the US 1 oz Gold Coin commemorates over 250 years of French support for America's Founding Fathers during the Revolutionary War era. Designed based on original concepts by Thomas Jefferson, the obverse features the Great Seal of the United States, while the reverse depicts an allegorical representation of Peace and Commerce in America, with a seated Native American woman receiving a cornucopia from Mercury, symbolizing trade.

Struck by The Paris Mint in one ounce of 99.9% pure gold, this coin showcases stunning High Relief detail, adding an almost three-dimensional effect. The Reverse Proof finish, crafted from hand-selected planchets, polished dies, and multiple strikes, produces mirror-like details rising over frosted fields, unlike the regular proof where frosted details rise over mirror-like fields.

This coin is 200 Euros legal tender in France and measures 34 mm in diameter. It has been graded by NGC in perfect Proof-70 Ultra Cameo (PF70UC) condition and is certified as a First Day of Issue (FDI), confirming it was released by the mint on the premier day of the series’ issue. With an extremely low mintage of only 250 coins worldwide, this piece is a highly exclusive collector's item and a tribute to the historic alliance between France and the United States.
