2020 Death Star 1 Kilo Silver - New Zealand Mint

The Death Star is one of the most iconic movie weapons in history. A gigantic space station, the size of a small moon, with a laser powerful enough to destroy entire planets. Here, this iconic piece of movie villainy is immortalized as a 1kg (2.2lb) 3D coin, struck from .999 pure silver. Yes, it's a coin! On the very bottom of the space station is the coin's obverse, bearing an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, and displaying a face value of One Hundred Dollars.   This stunning collectible is a limited minting of 299 pieces worldwide. It includes beautiful gift/display box, as well as a display stand with an acrylic cover, which really grants the piece a museum-like quality. Also included are white cotton gloves, so you can handle your Death Star with the love and care that only Darth Vader could show a giant, planet killing space station.
