2017-W Silver Eagle - PCGS PR70DCAM

The 2017-W Proof Silver Eagle continues the proud legacy of America’s most collected modern silver coin. Struck in .999 fine silver at the West Point Mint, it features Adolph A. Weinman’s legendary Walking Liberty design, symbolizing strength, hope, and freedom. With its sharp frosted reliefs and deeply mirrored fields, this proof coin radiates elegance and timeless beauty.

The 2017-W issue had a limited mintage of 440,596, making it a desirable collectible for those who appreciate both artistry and scarcity. Each proof was struck multiple times to bring out every intricate detail—from Liberty’s flowing gown to the sun rising on the horizon—showcasing the Mint’s world-class craftsmanship. It’s a shining example of precision and perfection in American coinage.

On the reverse, John Mercanti’s Heraldic Eagle design stands proudly with arrows and an olive branch in its talons, representing America’s balance of strength and peace. The mirrored background and frosted devices give the design incredible depth, highlighting why the Silver Eagle remains one of the most admired bullion coins in the world.

Graded a perfect PR70 Deep Cameo (DCAM) by PCGS, this coin represents the absolute pinnacle of condition, with flawless surfaces and exceptional visual appeal.
