Here's an opportunity to add a very unique error to your collection! This quarter was struck on a planchet that was missing a side! This is a missing clad layer, which results when an impurity prevents the copper and nickel to bond on a planchet. The nickel will become dislodged and fall of the planchet, resulting in an appearance that looks half copper, half nickel! This error is strikingly obvious and an amazing find! Not only is it a rare error, but it's also verified by PCGS and in a high MS64 grade!
