NGC Certified/Type 2 Reverse
Type II reverse is from dies which were intended for proof coinage but instead was accidentally used on business strikes instead. While the 1958 Type 2 reverse can be easier to find than 1959, the 1959 Type 2 reverse usually comes in better condition.
The Franklin half-dollar, the 50-cent coin, was struck by United States Mint between 1948-1963. Franklin half dollars exhibit a strong luster and bright, blast white surfaces. They are always hand selected for their eye appeal - and perfect for your collection!
