Depicts the Chapel of St Francis and the California Tower
This Half Dollar was issued to commemorate the opening of the International Exposition in San Diego. The design features the Chapel of Saint Francis and the California Tower. A Gorgeous bright complexion commemorative half dollars are rare - ours will always be hand selected for quality, collectability and eye appeal. Many of these were melted down after the exposition making the coin even rarer.
