Insanely low mintage of just 152,112 coins
Issued to mark the 300th anniversary of the Pilgrims’ arrival in America, the 1920 Pilgrim Tercentenary Half Dollar is one of the earliest U.S. commemorative coins. Designed by renowned sculptor Cyrus E. Dallin, the obverse features a powerful portrait of Governor William Bradford, while the reverse depicts the Mayflower crossing the Atlantic. This coin was part of a short-lived series meant to fund the Pilgrim celebrations in Massachusetts.
With a tiny mintage of only 152,112, this 90% silver coin is considered scarce and highly collectible today. Graded in About Uncirculated to Brilliant Uncirculated (AU/BU) condition, it retains much of its original detail and surface brilliance. A standout piece in both commemorative and silver coin collections, it offers historical depth and investment appeal in one iconic design.
