The 1917 Standing Liberty Quarter is famous - infamous, really - for a controversial design choice. Though the design is considered to be the most beautiful quarter ever made, some members of the public pressured the Treasury to stop minting this 'immoral' coin and recall all the coins already in circulation. Why? The original design featured Ms. Liberty's fully exposed right breast, causing a major uproar! Premium fully struck Full Head coins are almost impossible to find - a killer addition to your collection!
