1880-S Morgan Silver Dollar San Francisco - NGC MS64 Sight White

Experience one of the most desirable issues of the Morgan Dollar series with this 1880-S Morgan Silver Dollar, struck at the renowned San Francisco Mint. Known for producing some of the sharpest, most lustrous strikes in the entire series, the 1880-S is a collector favorite—and this example shines even brighter with its NGC MS64 Sight White designation. With a mintage of 12,600,000, high-grade survivors with premium eye appeal are far more limited than the original numbers suggest.

This coin’s Sight White certification guarantees exceptional brilliance, superb luster, and strictly vetted visual quality. Out of tens of thousands graded, fewer than 125 examples are estimated to meet Sight White standards, placing this coin firmly among the elite. NGC has certified 67,788 examples in MS64, but only a tiny fraction exhibit the icy-white surfaces and captivating brilliance collectors covet.

Our MS64 Morgan Dollars are hand-selected for outstanding eye appeal, ensuring surfaces that are free of major marks, nicks, or distracting flaws. The 1880-S is celebrated for its exceptional strike, and this premium example showcases razor-sharp detail from Liberty’s curls to the eagle’s feathers, all glowing with vibrant mint luster.
