The seated Liberty Heads were struck from the 1830s through the early 1890s. The 1846 Liberty Head $2.50 Gold coin is known as a Coronet Head type quarter eagle as well. As with a lot of gold coins, the 1846 is considered a scarce gold coin because most gold coins were either lost or melted back in the 1800s. Get yours before supplies run out!
